The Air Table
Care and Maintenance
At Jigsaw House, we make products for life. Our products are crafted from high- performance materials designed to withstand the elements.
We like to consider any deep dents or scratches as the unique patina of your table, as these cannot be removed. Embrace them – this is what makes your table unique.

General Care
- If you are not using the table for an extended time we recommend covering your table if it exposed outside. It will protect the table from any harsh weather that may affect the materials.
Sharp objects
- Do not place sharp objects on the table as this will dent and damage the foam.
Hot items
- Do not place extremely hot items such as pots and pans directly on the table. It can lead to damage of the foam tabletop.
Thread Lubrication
- Make sure the threads are always lubricated - see below for more information.

EPP Foam Care
EPP Foam is used for our tabletop. It is very tactile,water-resistant and very durable. However, like any material, it needs to be cared for properly.
Liquids and food
Spilling liquids on the tabletop surface will not affect the material as it is water resistant. However, when removing the liquid and/or food crumbs, we recommend using a cloth with some warm soapy water.
Please wipe off softly and do not scrub vigorously (this will scuff the EPP Foam and create a stain). You may need to wipe away several times to remove everything. If you can still not remove all marks please see below
Dirt and stains:
For tough scuff marks that have stained the surface of the foam, we recommend using a regular hose on it's highest pressure to remove any tough to get rid of marks.
Spray the tabletop ( avoiding the metal components) until the stain has been removed. Please refrain from scrubbing the surface as it will make permanent scuff marks on the surface, especially with steel brushes or abrasive materials.

Metal Care
General Care
The metal we use is a high-grade aluminium alloy. It has been further powder coated for weather protection.
Wash regularly with warm soapy water and mild detergent using a soft cloth.
Avoid steam cleaning, steel brushes/wools and cleaners containing chlorine. Never use strong solvents to clean powder coated surfaces. Do not allow detritus, organic or man-made matter to settle on the product surface.
Rough treatment of powder-coated furniture can result in chipping of the coated surface; this is not covered under warranty.
Thread and Screw joins
Make sure all the male thread and female thread cavities are clean and dry before screwing the legs in. They must be clean from dirt, dust or any foreign matter.
We recommend to lubricate the threads every so often (depending on how much your are screwing and unscrewing). We recommend using WD-40 Dry Lubricant with PDFE.
