The Air Table 1.0
What is your tabletop made from?
Our tabletop is made from a revolutionary material called EPP Foam. It has traditionally been used in the automobile industry. It is tactile, waterproof and extremely durable.
The tabletop is made from foam, does that mean it's soft?
No. We use a very high density EPP foam for our tabletop. It is extremely hard with very little give in it. Meaning that it performs like any tabletop surface would.
How heavy is The Air Table™ 1.0?
It weighs 11.80kg
Do I need tools to set it up?
No, it is a tool free design and can be set up in under 60 seconds.
Care and Maintenance
What if my thread gets stuck and I can not screw it in?
We recommend using any Dry Lubricant to prolong the threads lifespan. Just apply a small amount to both the male and female thread (leg and frame) and then screw in slowly. You may have to repeat this process a few times to properly lubricate the thread.

Is my table waterproof?
Yes, your table is waterproof. We recommend however, to cover your table if it is exposed to the elements to ensure it remains in good condition.
My tabletop is dirty, how do I clean it?
EPP Foam is used for our tabletop. It is very tactile,water-resistant and very durable. However, like any material, it needs to be cared for properly.
Liquids and food
Spilling liquids on the tabletop surface will not affect the material as it is water resistant. However, when removing the liquid and/or food crumbs, we recommend using a cloth with some warm soapy water.
Please wipe off softly and do not scrub vigorously (this will scuff the EPP Foam and create a stain). You may need to wipe away several times to remove everything. If you can still not remove all marks please see below
Dirt and stains:
For tough scuff marks that have stained the surface of the foam, we recommend using a regular hose on it's highest pressure to remove any tough to get rid of marks.
Spray the tabletop ( avoiding the metal components) until the stain has been removed. Please refrain from scrubbing the surface as it will make permanent scuff marks on the surface, especially with steel brushes or abrasive materials.

Why does my foam tabletop have small beads of foams sticking out.
The EPP Foam is molded into shape using a high pressure manufacturing process. This means that air has to leave the mold in order for the foam to be fixed into shape. The small beads you see on your tabletop is where the air has left the mold. This process is normal and consistent with all our products - these beads are what make your table tactile and unique.

Can I connect tables together in a different configuration or screw in middle legs?
What we have recommended is just one way you can join your tables together. Feel free to experiment with what works best for you.
My two table connection dips in the middle - is there anything I can do?
The two tables connection system can be prone to dipping in the middle when you first install it. In order to fix this issue, please grab hold of both sides of the join (where the two tables meet) and lift upwards, sucking the table in. This should make the table flat. Please avoid putting heavy objects on the join itself, whilst it will support the weight it may dip slightly when exposed to heavy load.
What is the weight capacity of the two tables connection system?
We recommend avoiding heavy loads when two tables are joined together (especially on the join). Keep under 50kg of load on the table for best practice.
